XRate does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. The app operates without a user account.

2. Data Stored Locally

Your conversion history, saved favorites, and app settings are stored exclusively on your device using on-device storage (Hive). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. Third-Party APIs

XRate uses the Frankfurter API to fetch live exchange rate data. This service does not require authentication and does not receive any personal information about you.

4. Firebase Services

XRate uses the following Firebase services:

• Firebase Crashlytics — automatically reports app crashes to help us identify and fix bugs. Reports may include device model, OS version, app version, and crash stack traces. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Firebase Analytics — collects aggregated, anonymized usage data (feature usage, session duration) to help us improve the app. No personally identifiable information is linked to analytics events.

5. Permissions

• Internet — Required to fetch live exchange rate data from the Frankfurter API.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

All locally stored data (conversion history, favorites, and settings) can be deleted at any time from within the app via Settings → Clear history. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

XRate is not directed at children under the age of 15 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
